  • The maximum output power of TOP233P is dependent on the input voltage, output voltage, and thermal design. However, Power Integrations recommends a maximum output power of 23W for the TOP233P.

  • To ensure reliable start-up of the TOP233P, make sure the input voltage is within the specified range, the output voltage is properly set, and the feedback loop is stable. Also, ensure that the input capacitor is properly sized and placed close to the IC.

  • The BYPASS pin on the TOP233P is used to connect an external capacitor to the internal voltage regulator. This pin allows the internal voltage regulator to be bypassed, which can improve the overall efficiency of the converter.
