The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LM348N is 35V, but it's recommended to keep it below 30V for reliable operation.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF with an ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of less than 5 ohms, and keep the input capacitance as close to the regulator as possible.
The minimum input voltage required for the LM348N to regulate properly is 2V above the output voltage (e.g., 7V for a 5V output).
The LM348N is rated for operation up to 125°C, but its performance may degrade at high temperatures. Consider using a heat sink or a more temperature-resistant regulator for high-temperature applications.
Use a TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode or a voltage clamp to protect the LM348N from input voltage transients and spikes.
