Store the components in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. The recommended storage temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
While W01G-E4/51 is suitable for high-frequency applications, its performance may degrade above 100 kHz. For frequencies above 100 kHz, consider using a more specialized component or consulting with a Vishay Intertechnologies engineer.
Handle the component by the body, avoiding touching the leads or glass seal. Use anti-static wrist straps, mats, or other ESD protection methods to prevent electrostatic discharge damage.
Follow the standard soldering profile for through-hole components: preheat to 150°C, solder at 220°C for 2-3 seconds, and cool to 100°C within 10 seconds. Avoid exceeding 240°C or using excessive soldering time.
While W01G-E4/51 is designed to withstand normal operating conditions, it may not be suitable for extreme vibration or shock environments. Consult with a Vishay Intertechnologies engineer or consider using a more ruggedized component for such applications.
