A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the signal traces short and away from the power planes. Use a common mode filter or a ferrite bead to reduce EMI.
Use a thermal management strategy such as heat sinks, thermal interfaces, or thermal vias to keep the junction temperature below 125°C. Ensure proper airflow and avoid thermal hotspots.
Use a low-noise, low-ESR power supply with a minimum of 1.8V and a maximum of 3.3V. Ensure the power supply can provide the required current (up to 1.5A) and has a low dropout voltage.
Use a high-quality clock source with a low jitter (<100ps) and a frequency range of 25MHz to 125MHz. Ensure the clock signal is properly terminated and routed to minimize skew and jitter.
Use controlled impedance routing, keep signal traces short and away from noise sources, and use differential signaling where possible. Avoid vias and right-angle turns in critical signal paths.
