The recommended power-on sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by VDDIO, and then the clock signal. This ensures proper initialization of the device.
The VS1011E-S can be configured for different audio formats such as MP3, WMA, and AAC using the SCI (Serial Control Interface) commands. Refer to the application note for specific configuration details.
The VS1011E-S supports clock frequencies up to 24.576 MHz. However, the recommended clock frequency is 12.288 MHz for optimal performance.
The VS1011E-S has a dedicated reset pin (RST) that can be used to reset the device. A pulse of at least 10 ns is required to trigger a reset. Additionally, the device can also be reset using the SCI command 'RST' (0x00).
The analog output pins (AO1-AO4) are used to output the decoded audio signal. AO1 and AO2 are the left and right channel outputs, respectively, while AO3 and AO4 are the optional subwoofer outputs.
