The UC3625DW requires careful layout and placement to ensure proper operation. TI recommends placing the IC close to the input capacitors, using a star-ground configuration, and keeping the high-current paths short and wide. A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane is recommended.
To minimize standby power consumption, ensure that the input voltage is removed during shutdown, and the EN pin is pulled low. Additionally, use a low-leakage capacitor for the VCC pin, and consider using a low-quiescent-current voltage regulator for the VCC supply.
