The recommended power-up sequence is to apply power to the analog supply (AVDD) first, followed by the digital supply (DVDD). This ensures that the analog circuitry is powered up before the digital circuitry.

The power consumption of the TVP5150 depends on the operating mode and the clock frequency. In active mode, the device consumes around 250 mW at 27 MHz. In standby mode, the power consumption is reduced to around 10 mW.
