A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. The device should be placed near the center of the board, and the input and output tracks should be kept short and away from noise sources.
The device requires a single 3.3V power supply, and the VCC pin should be decoupled with a 10nF capacitor. The bias voltage (VBIAS) should be set to 1.5V, and the bias current (IBIAS) should be set to 10mA.
The TQP3M9028 is designed to operate up to 6 GHz, but the maximum operating frequency may vary depending on the specific application and PCB layout.
The device has a thermal pad on the bottom, which should be connected to a thermal ground plane on the PCB. A thermal interface material (TIM) can be used to improve heat transfer. The maximum junction temperature is 150°C.
