A good PCB layout is crucial for optimal performance. TI recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and the use of vias to connect the top and bottom layers. The input and output capacitors should be placed close to the device, and the feedback resistors should be placed close to the output pin.
To ensure stability, make sure to follow the recommended component values and PCB layout. Also, ensure that the output capacitor has a low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and is placed close to the output pin. Additionally, the feedback resistors should be chosen to ensure a stable gain margin.
The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the TPS70345MPWPREP is 6.5V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage to the device.
