The maximum current rating of the TPS2064CDGN is 2A per channel, with a total current limit of 4A for both channels combined.
To ensure proper thermal management, it is recommended to provide a heat sink or a thermal pad on the exposed pad of the device, and to keep the ambient temperature below 85°C.
The EN (enable) pin is used to enable or disable the device. When the EN pin is high, the device is enabled, and when it is low, the device is disabled.
The TPS2064CDGN is rated for operation up to 85°C, but it can be used in high-temperature environments with proper thermal management and derating of the current limit.
The TPS2064CDGN has built-in overvoltage protection (OVP) and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) features to protect the device from voltage faults. Additionally, external protection circuits can be added to provide extra protection.
