The recommended operating voltage range for the TLP621 is 4.5V to 30V.
To ensure proper biasing, connect a 1kΩ to 10kΩ resistor between the VCC pin and the anode of the optocoupler, and a 1kΩ to 10kΩ resistor between the cathode of the optocoupler and the GND pin.
The maximum current rating for the TLP621 is 50mA.
