A good layout and routing practice is to keep the analog and digital grounds separate, use a star-ground configuration, and keep the input and output traces short and away from noise sources. Additionally, use a 0.1uF decoupling capacitor between VCC and GND, and a 10uF capacitor between VIN and GND.
Ensure the TLC4502AID is operated within the recommended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, and the power supply voltage is within the range of 4.5V to 16V. Also, ensure the device is not exposed to excessive moisture, vibration, or mechanical stress.
When selecting external components, consider the tolerance, temperature coefficient, and power rating. For resistors, choose 1% or better tolerance, and for capacitors, choose X7R or X5R dielectrics with a voltage rating that exceeds the maximum voltage applied. Also, ensure the components are compatible with the operating frequency and temperature range.
To troubleshoot oscillations or instability, check the PCB layout for noise coupling, ensure the power supply is clean and well-regulated, and verify the component values and tolerances. Also, check for incorrect pin connections, and ensure the device is operated within its recommended operating conditions.
To ensure EMC, use a shielded enclosure, keep the TLC4502AID away from noise sources, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead to filter the power supply. Also, ensure the PCB layout is designed to minimize radiation, and use a ground plane to reduce electromagnetic radiation.
