Texas Instruments recommends following a star-grounding topology, keeping analog and digital grounds separate, and using a solid ground plane to minimize noise. Additionally, keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to reduce crosstalk.
Power-up the TLC2272CDRG4 in the following sequence: VCC, VREF, and then VIN. Power-down in the reverse sequence. Ensure that VREF is stable before applying VIN, and that VIN is removed before powering down VREF and VCC.
The TLC2272CDRG4 can drive up to 1nF of capacitive load. Exceeding this limit can cause oscillations or instability. To ensure stability, add a series resistor (Rs) to the output, where Rs = 10Ω to 100Ω, depending on the capacitive load.
To optimize high-frequency performance, use a low-ESR bypass capacitor (e.g., 10nF to 100nF) between VCC and GND, and a low-impedance power supply.
