The recommended power-on sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by VREF, and then the analog input signals. This ensures proper device operation and prevents latch-up or damage.
When using the TLC084QPWPRQ1 as a comparator, the output voltage swing can be limited by adding a pull-up or pull-down resistor to the output pin. This helps to prevent the output from saturating and ensures a clean transition between logic levels.
The TLC084QPWPRQ1 can drive capacitive loads up to 100 pF. Exceeding this limit may cause oscillations or instability in the output signal.
To reduce power consumption, consider using a lower supply voltage (VCC), reducing the clock frequency, or using the shutdown mode (SHDN) when the device is not in use.
To minimize noise and EMI, use a ground plane, keep analog and digital signals separate, and use shielded cables or twisted pairs for analog input signals. Also, place decoupling capacitors close to the device and use a low-ESR capacitor for the VREF pin.
