The TL431AICT can operate from -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
To ensure stability, it's essential to decouple the TL431AICT with a capacitor (typically 10nF to 100nF) between the REF and ADJ pins, and to use a low-ESR capacitor (e.g., ceramic or film) for the output capacitor.
To minimize noise and ensure proper operation, keep the TL431AICT away from high-current paths and noisy signals, use a solid ground plane, and keep the input and output capacitors close to the device. Also, use a low-impedance path for the output capacitor to minimize voltage drops.
The output voltage (Vout) of the TL431AICT can be calculated using the formula: Vout = Vref x (1 + R1/R2), where Vref is the internal reference voltage (2.5V), and R1 and R2 are the resistors connected between the REF and ADJ pins.
The typical current consumption of the TL431AICT is around 2.5mA, but this can vary depending on the specific application and operating conditions.
