The recommended operating voltage range for the TDA2005M is 8V to 18V, with a typical voltage of 12V.
To ensure proper biasing, connect a 1kΩ resistor between the VCC pin and the GND pin, and a 2.2μF capacitor between the VCC pin and the GND pin. This will provide a stable voltage supply and decouple the power supply noise.
The maximum power dissipation of the TDA2005M is 2.5W, with a thermal resistance of 62°C/W. It's essential to ensure proper heat sinking to prevent overheating.
The gain of the TDA2005M can be configured by connecting a resistor (Rg) between the GAIN pin and the GND pin. The gain is calculated as 20 dB + (20 dB * Rg / 1kΩ).
