The maximum clock frequency of the STM8S207RBT6C is 24 MHz, but it can be overclocked to 32 MHz with a reduced voltage supply.
The clock source can be configured using the Clock Security System (CSS) and the Clock Control Register (CKR). The internal RC oscillator can be used as the clock source, or an external clock source can be used.
The NPOR (Non-Programmable Option Register) and NPIWE (Non-Programmable Internal Weak Pull-up Enable) bits are used to configure the internal pull-up resistors on the I/O pins. NPOR sets the pull-up resistors to be enabled or disabled, while NPIWE sets the weak pull-up resistors to be enabled or disabled.
The WDT can be enabled or disabled using the WDTE (Watchdog Timer Enable) bit in the WDT Control Register (WDTCR). The WDT timeout period can be set using the WDTP (Watchdog Timer Prescaler) bits in the WDTCR.
The BOR feature resets the microcontroller when the supply voltage falls below a certain threshold (typically 1.9V). This helps prevent the microcontroller from operating erratically or unpredictably during power-on or power-down sequences.
