A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. The device should be placed near the edge of the board to minimize radiation losses. A microstrip line or a coplanar waveguide should be used to connect the device to the antenna.
The RFX2401C requires a bias voltage of 2.7-5.5V and a bias current of 10-30mA. A voltage regulator or a low-dropout regulator (LDO) should be used to regulate the bias voltage. The bias voltage should be decoupled with a 10nF capacitor to reduce noise.
The RFX2401C can handle a maximum input power of +20dBm (100mW). Exceeding this power level may cause damage to the device or affect its performance.
The RFX2401C has an output impedance of 50 ohms. To match the impedance to your antenna, use a pi-network or a T-network matching circuit. The matching circuit should be designed to provide a 50-ohm impedance at the operating frequency.
The RFX2401C operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. However, the device's performance may degrade at extreme temperatures. It is recommended to operate the device within a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C for optimal performance.
