The maximum operating frequency of the RCX450N20 is 100 kHz, but it can be used up to 200 kHz with reduced performance.
To ensure stability, it's essential to use a suitable output capacitor with a low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and a sufficient capacitance value. A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor is recommended.
A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor with an X7R or X5R dielectric is recommended for the input capacitor. This helps to filter out noise and ripple from the input voltage.
Use a voltage supervisor or a voltage monitor IC to detect overvoltage and undervoltage conditions. You can also add a Zener diode or a TVS diode to protect the device from voltage spikes.
