The maximum allowed input voltage ripple is 10% of the nominal input voltage. Exceeding this limit may cause instability or oscillations in the converter.

Use a combination of capacitors with different ESR values to filter out high-frequency noise and ripple. A minimum of 2x 10uF ceramic capacitors and 1x 100uF electrolytic capacitor is recommended.
