  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Ensure a minimum of 1mm clearance around the package for heat dissipation. Use thermal interface material (TIM) and a heat sink if possible.

  • Use a low-ESR capacitor (e.g., X7R or X5R) with a value of 10uF to 22uF for VCC and 1uF to 4.7uF for VDD. Ensure the power supply can provide a minimum of 1.5A current. Use a voltage regulator with low dropout (LDO) and high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR).

  • The external clock frequency should be between 10MHz to 50MHz. The reset signal should be asserted for at least 10ms during power-up and have a pulse width of 10ns to 100ns. Ensure the clock and reset signals have a rise and fall time of <5ns.

  • Use a shielded enclosure, and ensure a minimum of 1mm clearance between the device and the enclosure. Use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead on the power supply lines. Implement a decoupling capacitor network and use a low-pass filter on the clock signal.

  • Set the internal voltage regulator to 1.2V for optimal performance. Use the low-power mode (LP) for idle states and the run mode (RM) for active states. Adjust the voltage regulator settings based on the system's power requirements.
