A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Place the device near a thermal pad or a heat sink to improve heat dissipation.
Ensure that the output capacitor has a low ESR and is placed close to the device. Also, use a minimum of 10uF output capacitance and a 1uF ceramic capacitor in parallel with the output capacitor.
The maximum input voltage is 26V, but it's recommended to operate the device within the specified input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V for optimal performance and reliability.
