The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by VREF, and then the analog input signal. This ensures proper device operation and prevents potential latch-up conditions.
To ensure accurate voltage reference performance, it is recommended to decouple the VREF pin with a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor to GND, and to keep the VREF pin away from noise sources and high-current switching nodes.
The maximum capacitive load that can be driven by the DAC output is 100pF. Exceeding this limit may affect the DAC's settling time and accuracy.
When using an external reference voltage, the DAC's output voltage range is determined by the reference voltage. Ensure that the external reference voltage is within the recommended range (1.2V to 5.5V) and that the DAC output voltage does not exceed the supply voltage (VDD).
The recommended clock frequency for the SPI interface is up to 20MHz. However, the device can operate at higher clock frequencies, but with reduced noise immunity and increased power consumption.
