The maximum clock frequency that can be used with the internal oscillator is 20 MHz. However, it's recommended to use a clock frequency of 16 MHz or less to ensure reliable operation.
To configure the watchdog timer to reset the microcontroller, set the WDT_C1[WDT] bit to 1 and the WDT_C1[WDTS] bit to 0. Then, set the WDT_C2[WDTOF] bit to 1 to enable the watchdog timer. Make sure to periodically refresh the watchdog timer by writing a 1 to the WDT_C2[WDTOF] bit to prevent a reset.
The maximum current that can be sourced or sunk by a GPIO pin is 25 mA. However, it's recommended to limit the current to 10 mA or less to ensure reliable operation and prevent overheating.
To use the ADC in 10-bit mode, set the ADC_SC2[ADICLK] bit to 0 and the ADC_SC2[MODE] bit to 0. Then, set the ADC_SC1[DIFF] bit to 0 for single-ended mode or 1 for differential mode. Finally, set the ADC_SC1[ADCH] bits to select the desired analog input channel.
The minimum voltage range for the VDD power supply is 2.7 V, and the maximum voltage range is 5.5 V. Operating the microcontroller outside of this range may cause unreliable operation or damage to the device.
