It is recommended to follow a star-grounding scheme, keeping the analog and digital grounds separate, and using a solid ground plane to minimize noise. Place the MAX705CSA+T close to the power source and use short, direct traces to reduce noise and radiation.
Use a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor between VCC and GND, and a 10uF electrolytic capacitor between VCC and GND, placed as close to the device as possible. This will help filter out high-frequency noise and ensure stable operation.
The maximum allowed voltage on the input pins is VCC + 0.3V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage to the device.
The WDT is enabled by default. To disable it, tie the WDT pin to VCC. To use the WDT, connect a resistor and capacitor in series between the WDT pin and GND to set the timeout period.
The RST pin is an active-low input that resets the device when pulled low. It can be used to reset the device during power-up or to initiate a software reset.
