Analog Devices recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and keeping the analog and digital sections separate. A dedicated analog ground plane is also recommended. Refer to the application note AN-097 for more details.
Follow the recommended PCB layout and component placement guidelines. Use a common-mode choke and a pi-filter at the input stage to reduce EMI. Additionally, ensure the device is properly shielded and grounded. Refer to the application note AN-1109 for more details.
The recommended input voltage range for the MAX2015EUA+ is 2.7V to 5.5V. Operating the device outside this range may affect its accuracy and performance.
The MAX2015EUA+ has a thermal pad that must be connected to a thermal plane on the PCB. Ensure good thermal conductivity between the device and the thermal plane. A thermal interface material (TIM) can be used to improve thermal conductivity.
A 1uF ceramic capacitor in parallel with a 10uF electrolytic capacitor is recommended for output filtering. This filter configuration helps to reduce output noise and improve the device's overall performance.
