The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LTM8054MPY is 40V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
To ensure stability, it is recommended to follow the layout guidelines provided in the datasheet, use a low-ESR output capacitor, and add a compensation capacitor (Ccomp) between the COMP pin and GND.
The recommended input capacitor value is 10uF to 22uF, with an ESR of less than 100mΩ. A larger capacitor value can be used, but it may increase the startup time.
Yes, the LTM8054MPY is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C. However, the device's performance and reliability may degrade at high temperatures. It is recommended to derate the output current and voltage at high temperatures.
To synchronize the switching frequency, connect the SYNC pin of each device to a common clock signal. The SYNC pin can be driven by an external clock signal or by the clock output of one of the devices.
