  • The LTC4449 can operate from -40°C to 125°C, but the maximum junction temperature (TJ) should not exceed 150°C.

  • A 10uF to 22uF X5R or X7R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the input capacitor (CIN). This value provides a good balance between input ripple rejection and stability.

  • Yes, the LTC4449 can operate with input voltages up to 12V, but the maximum input voltage should not exceed 14V. However, the device's internal voltage regulator may not be able to regulate the output voltage accurately above 5V input.

  • The output voltage (VOUT) can be calculated using the formula: VOUT = 0.8V x (1 + RFB/RIN), where RFB and RIN are the feedback and input resistors, respectively.
