The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 40V, but it's recommended to keep it below 36V for reliable operation.
To optimize the inductor selection, consider the inductor's saturation current, DC resistance, and core material. A good starting point is to choose an inductor with a saturation current rating above the peak current of the converter, and a DC resistance that minimizes losses.
The SS pin is the soft-start pin, which allows the converter to gradually ramp up the output voltage during startup. To use it, connect a capacitor from the SS pin to GND, and the capacitor value will determine the soft-start time.
To configure the LTC3769 for a specific output voltage, use the FB pin and a resistive divider to set the output voltage. The FB pin is the feedback pin, and the resistive divider should be connected between the output voltage and GND, with the center tap connected to the FB pin.
The maximum switching frequency of the LTC3769 is 2.2MHz, but it can be adjusted using the RT pin and an external resistor.
