The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LTC3639 is 36V, but it's recommended to keep it below 34V to ensure reliable operation.
To minimize EMI, it's recommended to keep the input and output capacitors close to the IC, use a solid ground plane, and keep the high-frequency switching nodes (e.g. SW pin) away from sensitive analog nodes.
The recommended output capacitor value is 10uF to 22uF, and it's recommended to use a low-ESR ceramic capacitor (e.g. X5R or X7R) to minimize output voltage ripple.
The output voltage of the LTC3639 can be adjusted by changing the resistive divider ratio between the VOUT pin and the GND pin. The formula to calculate the output voltage is: VOUT = 0.8V x (R1 + R2) / R2.
The maximum output current that the LTC3639 can deliver is 3A, but it's recommended to derate the output current based on the ambient temperature and the input voltage to ensure reliable operation.
