The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the internal components.
To ensure the stability of the output voltage, make sure to use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and a maximum ESR of 1 ohm. Also, ensure that the input voltage is within the recommended range and the output current is within the specified limits.
The EN (enable) pin is used to turn the regulator on or off. To turn the regulator on, connect the EN pin to VIN or a logic high signal. To turn the regulator off, connect the EN pin to GND or a logic low signal.
The output voltage of the regulator can be calculated using the formula: VOUT = 0.6V x (R1/R2) + 0.6V, where R1 and R2 are the resistors connected to the FB (feedback) pin.
The maximum output current that the regulator can provide is 3A, but it's recommended to keep the output current below 2.5A for optimal performance and to prevent overheating.
