  • The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and reliability.

  • To minimize EMI and noise, it's recommended to follow a star-ground configuration, keep the input and output capacitors close to the IC, and use a solid ground plane. Additionally, use a shielded inductor and keep the switching node (SW pin) away from sensitive nodes.

  • The recommended inductor value is between 1.5uH to 3.3uH, and it's recommended to use a shielded inductor with a low DCR (DC resistance) to minimize losses. A good option is the Wurth Elektronik 744331500 or similar.

  • The output voltage can be adjusted by changing the resistor divider ratio between the VOUT pin and the GND pin. The formula to calculate the output voltage is VOUT = 0.8V x (R1 + R2) / R2, where R1 and R2 are the resistors in the divider.

  • The maximum output current that the LTC3611EWP can deliver is 1.5A, but it's recommended to derate the output current based on the input voltage, output voltage, and ambient temperature to ensure reliable operation.
