  • The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the internal regulator.

  • To minimize EMI and noise, it's recommended to follow a star-ground configuration, keep the input and output capacitors close to the IC, and use a solid ground plane. Additionally, use a shielded inductor and keep the switching node (SW pin) away from sensitive nodes.

  • The recommended inductor value is between 1.5uH to 3.3uH, and a shielded inductor with a low DCR (DC resistance) is recommended. The inductor type should be a high-frequency, low-loss inductor with a high saturation current rating.

  • The output voltage of the LTC3414IFE can be adjusted by using a resistive divider network between the VOUT pin and the GND pin. The resistors should be chosen to provide a voltage divider ratio that sets the desired output voltage.

  • The maximum output current that the LTC3414IFE can deliver is 1.5A, but it's recommended to derate the output current based on the input voltage, output voltage, and ambient temperature to ensure reliable operation.
