  • The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and reliability.

  • To minimize EMI and noise, it's recommended to follow a star-ground configuration, keep the input and output capacitors close to the IC, and use a solid ground plane. Additionally, use a shielded inductor and keep the switching node (SW pin) away from sensitive nodes.

  • The recommended operating frequency range for the LTC3411AEMS#PBF is between 200 kHz to 2 MHz. Operating outside this range may affect the converter's efficiency and stability.

  • While ceramic capacitors can be used for the output filter capacitor (COUT), they may not be the best choice due to their limited capacitance and high ESR. X5R or X7R ceramic capacitors with a minimum capacitance of 10uF and low ESR (<10mΩ) are recommended.
