A good PCB layout for the LT4363 involves keeping the input and output capacitors close to the IC, using a solid ground plane, and minimizing the length of the input and output traces. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated ground plane is recommended.
Choose X5R or X7R ceramic capacitors with a voltage rating of at least 2x the maximum input voltage. The capacitance value should be at least 10uF for the input capacitor and 22uF for the output capacitor. Ensure the capacitors are placed close to the IC and have a low ESR.
The LT4363 is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C. However, the device may not meet its specified performance over the full temperature range. Ensure proper thermal design and heat sinking to maintain a safe junction temperature.
