  • The LT3980 can handle input voltages up to 60V, but it's recommended to keep it below 50V for optimal performance and reliability.

  • To ensure stability, make sure to use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and a maximum ESR of 1 ohm. Also, use a low-ESR ceramic capacitor for the output filter capacitor.

  • The LT3980 can deliver up to 2A of output current, but it's recommended to keep it below 1.5A for optimal performance and reliability.

  • The output voltage can be adjusted by using a resistive divider network between the output and the FB pin. The ratio of the resistors determines the output voltage.

  • The EN (enable) pin is used to turn the regulator on or off. When the EN pin is high, the regulator is enabled, and when it's low, the regulator is disabled.
