  • The maximum output current of the LT3090IMSE is 2A, but it can be paralleled to achieve higher output currents.

  • To minimize noise and EMI, it is recommended to follow a star-ground configuration, keep the input and output capacitors close to the device, and use a solid ground plane. Additionally, the device's thermal pad should be connected to a solid ground plane to reduce thermal resistance.

  • The recommended input capacitor type is a low-ESR ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF. The input capacitor should be placed close to the VIN pin to reduce noise and improve stability.

  • The output voltage of the LT3090IMSE can be adjusted by using a resistive divider network between the VOUT pin and the GND pin. The output voltage can be calculated using the formula: VOUT = 0.8V x (1 + R1/R2), where R1 and R2 are the resistors in the divider network.

  • The thermal shutdown temperature of the LT3090IMSE is typically around 150°C to 160°C. When the device exceeds this temperature, it will shut down to prevent damage.
