A good PCB layout for the LP5562 involves placing the input capacitors close to the VIN pin, and the output capacitors close to the VOUT pin. The inductor should be placed close to the LX pin, and the diode should be placed close to the LX pin as well. A solid ground plane is also recommended to reduce EMI.
When choosing an inductor for the LP5562, consider the inductor's saturation current, DC resistance, and core material. The inductor's saturation current should be higher than the peak current of the converter. The DC resistance should be low to minimize power loss. Ferrite or iron powder cores are good options for the LP5562.
The maximum input voltage for the LP5562 is 15V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
The output voltage of the LP5562 can be adjusted by changing the resistive divider ratio of the feedback resistors (RFBT and RFBG). A higher ratio will result in a higher output voltage, and a lower ratio will result in a lower output voltage.
The EN (enable) pin is used to turn the converter on and off. When the EN pin is high, the converter is enabled, and when it is low, the converter is disabled. This pin can be used to implement power sequencing or to turn off the converter when not in use.
