To ensure stability of the output voltage, it is recommended to use a minimum output capacitance of 2.2uF and a maximum ESR of 1 ohm. Additionally, the input capacitor should be at least 1uF.
The minimum input voltage required for the LP2981 to operate is 2.7V. However, the device can operate down to 2.5V with reduced performance.
The LP2981 is rated for operation up to 125°C. However, the device's performance may degrade at high temperatures, and the output voltage may drop. It is recommended to derate the output current at high temperatures.
