The LM337LMX can handle input voltages up to 40V, but it's recommended to keep the input voltage at least 2V higher than the output voltage to ensure proper regulation.
The output voltage of the LM337LMX can be adjusted by connecting a resistor divider network between the output pin and the adjust pin. The ratio of the resistors determines the output voltage.
The LM337LMX requires a minimum load current of 10mA to regulate properly. If the load current is less than 10mA, the output voltage may not be regulated accurately.
The LM337LMX is rated for operation up to 125°C, but its performance may degrade at high temperatures. It's recommended to derate the output current and voltage at high temperatures to ensure reliable operation.
To protect the LM337LMX from input voltage transients, it's recommended to add a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode or a zener diode in parallel with the input capacitor to clamp the input voltage.
