The maximum power dissipation of the LM324DT is 500mW. However, this value can be derated based on the ambient temperature and the package type.
While the LM324DT can be used as a comparator, it's not the best choice. The LM324DT is an op-amp designed for linear applications, and its output stage is not optimized for high-speed switching. For comparator applications, a dedicated comparator IC like the LM339 or LM2901 is recommended.

The input impedance of the LM324DT is typically around 2MΩ, but it can vary depending on the specific application and operating conditions. For precise measurements, it's recommended to consult the datasheet or perform experiments to determine the input impedance in your specific use case.
The LM324DT is rated for operation up to 125°C (TJ), but its performance may degrade at higher temperatures. For high-temperature applications, consider using a more specialized op-amp designed for high-temperature operation, such as the LM324Q or LM324HV.
