The maximum input voltage is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the device.
To ensure stability, it's essential to use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) should be less than 1 ohm. Additionally, the input capacitor should be at least 1uF with an ESR less than 1 ohm.
The maximum output current is 500mA, but it's recommended to keep it below 400mA for optimal performance and to prevent overheating.
The power dissipation can be calculated using the formula: Pd = (Vin - Vout) x Iout, where Vin is the input voltage, Vout is the output voltage, and Iout is the output current.
The thermal shutdown temperature is 150°C, and the device will automatically shut down if the junction temperature exceeds this value.
