The L7986TR can handle a maximum input voltage of 30V, but it's recommended to keep it below 28V for reliable operation.
To ensure stability, make sure to follow the recommended PCB layout guidelines, use a sufficient output capacitor (at least 10uF), and add a 10nF capacitor between the VIN and EN pins.
