The L6564TDTR can handle input voltages up to 30V, but it's recommended to keep it below 25V for optimal performance and reliability.
The inductor value depends on the output voltage, output current, and switching frequency. A good starting point is to use the inductor value calculation formula provided in the datasheet, and then adjust based on the specific application requirements.
The bootstrap capacitor (CBOOT) is used to generate the high-side gate drive voltage. The recommended value is 10nF to 22nF, but it may need to be adjusted based on the specific application requirements and the value of the high-side MOSFET.
To ensure stability, make sure to follow the recommended PCB layout guidelines, use a low-ESR output capacitor, and add a small ceramic capacitor (e.g., 10nF) between the VCC pin and GND. Additionally, adjust the compensation network (R3, R4, C3) according to the application requirements.
The L6564TDTR can deliver up to 3A of output current, but it's recommended to derate the output current based on the ambient temperature and the specific application requirements.
