  • The maximum input voltage is 15V, but it's recommended to keep it below 12V for optimal performance and to prevent overheating.

  • The minimum load current required is 5mA. If the load current is less than 5mA, the regulator may not function properly or may oscillate.

  • The L4973D5.1-013TR is rated for operation up to 125°C, but it's recommended to derate the output current and input voltage as the temperature increases to prevent overheating and ensure reliable operation.

  • The output voltage can be calculated using the formula: Vout = Vref x (1 + R2/R1), where Vref is the internal reference voltage (1.235V), and R1 and R2 are the resistors used to set the output voltage.
