ROHM recommends a thermal pad size of at least 2.5mm x 2.5mm, with multiple vias to the ground plane to ensure efficient heat dissipation. A minimum of 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane is also recommended.
To ensure reliability, operate the device within the recommended temperature range (TJ = -40°C to 150°C). Implement proper thermal management, such as heat sinks or thermal interfaces, and follow ROHM's recommended PCB design guidelines.
The maximum allowed voltage for the KTR03EZPF6804 is 6.5V. Exceeding this voltage may cause permanent damage to the device.
While the KTR03EZPF6804 is designed for high-speed switching, its frequency response is limited to around 100kHz. For higher frequency applications, consider using a different device or consulting with ROHM's application engineers.
To prevent latch-up or damage, ensure that the power supply voltage (VCC) is applied before the input signal (VIN). Also, ensure that the input signal is within the recommended voltage range during power-up and power-down sequences.
