The INA129 can handle input voltages up to ±650mV, but it's recommended to keep the input voltage within ±500mV to ensure accurate measurements.
The gain resistor (Rg) should be chosen based on the desired gain and input voltage range. A smaller Rg value results in higher gain, but may also increase noise. A larger Rg value results in lower gain, but may also reduce noise. Consult the datasheet for a gain calculation formula.
The REF pin is the reference voltage input for the INA129. It should be connected to a stable voltage source, such as a voltage regulator or a voltage reference IC. The REF pin sets the output voltage of the INA129, and it's typically connected to a voltage divider or a voltage reference circuit.
To filter out noise and interference, add capacitors (e.g., 10nF to 100nF) between the input pins and GND, and between the output pin and GND. You can also add a low-pass filter (e.g., RC filter) between the output pin and the load. Additionally, use a shielded cable and keep the INA129 circuit away from noise sources.
The INA129 can drive up to 10mA of output current. However, the output current should be limited to 5mA or less to ensure accurate measurements and to prevent overheating.
