Infineon recommends a 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a thermal relief pattern under the device to ensure optimal thermal performance.
Ensure proper heat sinking, use a thermal interface material, and follow the recommended PCB layout guidelines. Also, consider using a thermistor or thermocouple to monitor the device temperature.
The maximum allowed voltage on the VIN pin is 28V, but it's recommended to keep it below 24V for reliable operation.
The ICE3PCS01GXUMA1 requires a specific power sequencing to ensure proper operation. The VIN pin should be powered up before the VCC pin, and the VCC pin should be powered down before the VIN pin.
A 10uF to 22uF X7R or X5R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the VIN pin to ensure stable operation and minimize voltage ripple.
