A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the high-voltage traces short and away from sensitive analog signals.
Use a reliable SPI interface with a clock frequency of 1-5 MHz. Ensure proper signal termination and use a pull-up resistor on the CS pin.
The HV513WG-G can withstand up to 700V, but the recommended maximum voltage is 600V for reliable operation.
Implement external OVP and UVP circuits using zener diodes and resistors. The HV513WG-G has internal protection, but external circuits provide additional safety.
Power up the VDD pin first, followed by the VPP pin. Ensure VDD is stable before applying VPP.
