The GALI-6F+ can operate from -40°C to +85°C, but the optimal operating temperature range is from 0°C to 50°C for best performance.
The GALI-6F+ requires a bias voltage of 5V ± 0.5V and a bias current of 100mA ± 10mA. Ensure the power supply is stable and decoupled to prevent noise and oscillations.
Use a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and ensure the GALI-6F+ is placed near the edge of the board. Use a star-grounding scheme and decouple the power supply lines with 10nF capacitors.
Handle the GALI-6F+ by the package, not the leads. Store the device in an anti-static bag or wrap it in anti-static material. Avoid bending or flexing the leads during assembly.
